TVC photography in Sydney with Paperdragon for Citibank. Screenshots taken from my instagram account featuring photography shot over a three day shoot.
In this world of fake news and lack of trust generally my Photography testimonials have become more important that ever. If you have worked with me and would like to give me a google testimonial which are super handy please click here : https://goo.gl/FqJWvp
Shooting with Showpony I was asked to set up a studio space in a small bedroom and also shoot portraits on the fly as the TVC crew shot a couple of 15TVC’s . I thought an animated gif would be great way to show off the ageing effect that the makeup artist were working on over day the day… Managing to get the light and framing to make the animations work was a good technical challenge. The ad was about making decisions in life before you get too old…
Working in a dark lane in Sydney’s CBD area without any sun we were tasked to shoot Buddy for a summery campaign for Footlocker, shooting well known football players Buddy Franklin, Josh Dugan and Adam Reynolds. It was a fun shoot as always working with marketing and design firm Famous Group from Brisbane. We’ve shot in quite a few challenging locations including in an abandon train tunnel under central station and the old brick factory in Alexandria. Always rewarding as a photographer to get a glimpse of Sydneys locations that most people don’t get to see.
Heres a link to some portraits I did for Marie Claire on the Perth housewives that probably watch AFL on a wall sized flatscreen https://jeremypark.com.au/editorial-photographer/
A RECENT 4 DAY PHOTO SHOOT WITH THE PRODUCTION COMPANY PAPER DRAGON AND ADVERTISING AGENCY ARCHIBALD WILLIAMS FOR A CITIBANK CAMPAIGN.
WE PHOTOGRAPHED VARIOUS SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS AS THEY WORKED AND WORKED AROUND THE TVC CREW TO CAPTURE A VARIETY OF PHOTOS FOR THE VARIOUS END OF USE FORMATS….OUTDOOR, ONLINE AND TV. WE SHOT A CAMEL FARMER, A BEE KEEPER, A CHEF, AN ARCHITECT, A ROCK CLIMBER AND A SCENIC ARTIST. MAINLY SHOT AROUND SYDNEY, EXCEPT FOR THE CAMEL FARMER, THE PHOTOGRAPHY BRIEF WAS RELATIVELY OPEN AND ALLOWED ALOT OF ROOM FOR CREATIVE INPUT. AS A SYDNEY PHOTOGRAPHER IT WAS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GET A BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK AT OTHER CREATIVES DOING INTERESTING THINGS. THERE’S MORE TVC WORK ON MY ADVERTISING PAGE FOUND HERE
here’s a link I did for CPA TV “the bottom line” – portrait series – https://jeremypark.com.au/cpa-sydney-photographer/
It was a fun project to work with JMC Music Academy Sydney and the students to create a series of fresh and energetic images. Working with universities and schools are a great way to get creative with more open and varied photographic briefs. This allows me to explore ideas and work within challenging lighting and time limitations. Commercial Photography is all about making quick decisions and putting your skills on the line constantly. Especially with digital photography where the client is able to see each and every decision you make come up on the on screen in real time. This is where experience shows. There’s a whole web page here which shows my work with uni’s and schools.
Shooting with my new 50mp camera in Aquatech underwater housing we had a fun day in a Sydney pool for Fanta. The models we had were great and surprisingly managed to keep smiling with open eyes underwater for longer than I thought possible! We sank my tripod with weights and even had large Profoto striplights dipped into the water to get the light onto our hero for the photograph… Was a technical and fun challenge. Even to get the lights to fire while the camera was underwater required a unique solution. We also photographed other setups with a trapeze and one with coloured powder being thrown at a running model while he held a can of fanta heroed to camera! Besides from the technical aspect the production was also fun… as a Sydney photographer I find it exciting to travel about every week getting a peak into other peoples houses, offices and lives!
